Rod of Earth

Note: This school of magic requires mineral environments such as rocks, cement, sediment, dirt, stone, etc. Metal and wood are not directly affected by these spells. However, the structural integrity of wooden or metal structures could be affected by a sudden change in the composition of a mineral-based foundation.

2 Actions 

Range: Touch, any stone or earthy surface 

The caster touches a bare earth surface near them and pushes their magical energy into it. Minerals condense and a Quarterstaff made of condensed stone emerges from the surface. The Quarterstaff may only be used by the caster and is maintained by touching the weapon, but it fully functions like a standard Quarterstaff with the exception that damage can be considered either Physical Damage or Magical Damage at the discretion of the caster. The Quarterstaff crumbles at the end of the caster’s turn, or after 6 seconds if used outside of combat
