This shield is capable of absorbing up to 500 points of Physical Damage, including ammunition from modern and futuristic weapons. When this shield’s HP reaches 0, it is destroyed, and its crafting materials are lost. Donning this shield enables the wearer the ability to choose between attempting to dodge ranged attacks or blocking with the shield as if they were from melee attacks. Donning this shield also reduces Dexterity rolls by –5 and adds +2 to Strength rolls when defending against melee attacks.
